FTTP Loops. 3.5.1 Notwithstanding any other provision of the Agreement or any Verizon Tariff, PEG shall not be entitled to obtain access to a FTTP Loop, or any segment thereof, on an unbundled basis. 3.5.2 For avoidance of any doubt, Section 3.5.1 above applies with respect to all FTTP Loops (and segments thereof), including, but not limited to, (i) where Verizon deploys (or has deployed) a FTTP Loop to the customer premises of an end user that has not been served by any Verizon Loop other than a FTTP Loop and (ii) where (a) Verizon deploys (or has deployed) an FTTP Loop to replace a copper Loop previously used to serve a particular end user’s customer premises, and (b) Verizon retires (or has retired) that copper Loop and there are no other available copper Loops or Hybrid Loops for PEG's provision of a voice grade service to that end user’s customer premises.

  • Wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop This is a designed 4-wire Loop that is provisioned according to industry standards for DS1 or Primary Rate ISDN services and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a DLR. A DS1 Loop may be provisioned over a variety of loop transmission technologies including copper, HDSL-based technology or fiber optic transport systems. It will include a 4-Wire DS1 Network Interface at the End User’s location.
