General Engineering Sample Clauses

The General Engineering clause outlines the fundamental responsibilities and standards expected of parties involved in engineering work under a contract. It typically covers the scope of engineering services, adherence to applicable codes and regulations, and the requirement to use qualified personnel and appropriate materials. For example, it may specify that all designs must comply with industry standards and that any deviations require prior approval. The core function of this clause is to ensure that engineering work is performed competently, safely, and in accordance with agreed-upon specifications, thereby reducing the risk of defects or non-compliance.
