GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT. BOPBA Representative Players shall: a) Recognise that they are ambassadors for the sport of badminton, the BOPBA and Badminton NZ and that it is a privilege to represent their association and their community. b) Maintain consideration and respect towards the public, coaches, officials, volunteers and other players regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, or disability. c) Treat their opponents with respect; show good sportsmanship by winning with humility and losing with dignity; respect the decisions of officials; and recognises the efforts of teammates or opponents regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation or ability. d) Agree to abide by the rules, bylaws, regulations, and/or laws of Badminton NZ, any host associations and host venues. e) Avoid any behaviour that would cause unreasonable disruption or interference in competitions, training sessions/practises, or preparation of any player for a competition (i.e. fighting, abusive or foul language, etc.). f) Avoid theft or vandalism of any property, hotel rooms, dormitories, training facilities, and equipment. The player shall be held personally accountable for such actions and agrees to pay directly for any such damage. g) Treat with respect all property owned, rented by or loaned by Bay of Plenty Badminton Assn Inc., including, but not limited to, team equipment, clothing, rental or other vehicles and accommodations. h) Commit to participation in the following: • Information requests from BOPBA. • Feedback and Survey requests from BOPBA • Promotional activities as negotiated with BOPBA • Fundraising activities as negotiated with BOPBA
GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT. To promote the welfare and meet the proper working conditions for all employees, the following procedures have been established. Violation of them shall subject the employee to strict disciplinary action up to and including discharge.
GENERAL RULES OF CONDUCT. ISS Crewmembers’ conduct shall be such as to maintain a harmonious and cohesive relationship among the ISS crewmembers and an appropriate level of mutual con- fidence and respect through an interactive, participative, and relationship-oriented ap- proach which duly takes into account the international and multicultural nature of the crew and mission. No ISS crewmember shall, by his or her conduct, act in a manner which results in or creates the appearance of: (1) Giving undue preferential treatment to any person or enti- ty in the performance of ISS activities; and/ or (2) adversely affecting the confidence of the public in the integrity of, or reflecting unfavorably in a public forum on, any ISS partner, partner state or Cooperating Agen- cy. ISS crewmembers shall protect and con- serve all property to which they have access for ISS activities. No such property shall be altered or removed for any purpose other than those necessary for the performance of ISS duties. Before altering or removing any such property, ISS crewmembers shall first obtain authorization from the Flight Direc- tor, except as necessary to ensure the imme- diate safety of ISS crewmembers or ISS ele- ments, equipment, or payloads.

The Athlete shall be held personally accountable for such actions and agrees to reimburse Badminton NZ directly for any such damage. g) Treat with respect all property owned, rented by or loaned by Badminton NZ, including, but not limited to, team equipment, clothing, rental or other vehicles and accommodations. h) Avoid the use of banned substances that are in contravention of the rules, regulations and bylaws of Badminton NZ. i) Submit to random doping control tests at competitions and at other times requested by Badminton NZ for Drug-Free Sport NZ, or any other authority designated to do so by Badminton NZ. Failure to submit to such testing shall be grounds for immediate dismissal from Badminton NZ. j) To wear the Badminton New Zealand uniform with pride and respect. Badminton New Zealand requires all players to wear the allocated uniform at events unless permission has been received and granted for events. Any request not to wear the Badminton New Zealand uniform must be received in writing to the Badminton New Zealand Chief Executive Officer no less than 14 days prior to departure for the event. k) Adhere to the “i am badminton” BWF global integrity campaign which is about players, coaches, technical officials and administrators working together to protect our sport from threats like doping, match fixing, illegal betting and ...
