Grievance Procedure Definitions. A grievance is an allegation by one or more unit members or the Association that there has been a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of the specific provisions of this Agreement. A grievant member, or members, of the Bargaining Unit or the Association alleging a violation, misinterpretation or misapplication of a specific provision of this Agreement. A day is defined as a day when the schools in the District are in session, excluding summer school.
