Grounds for Discipline. Incompetency, inefficiency, dishonesty, drunkenness, immoral conduct, insubordination, discourteous treatment of the public, neglect of duty, absence without leave, substance abuse, failure of good behavior, violations of City or department work rules, policies, procedures, or any other acts of misfeasance, malfeasance, or nonfeasance, shall be cause for disciplinary action.
Grounds for Discipline. Disciplinary Action shall be for fact(s) which establish unacceptable conduct such as, but not limited to, one or more of the following:
1. Fraud in securing appointment.

An employee who fails to successfully complete treatment or counseling shall be subject to the previously proposed disciplinary action. If the employee successfully completes the program, the previously proposed disciplinary action shall not be imposed.

Grounds for Discipline. Grounds for discipline of any person employed in the classified services include, but are not limited to, the following:
14.3.1 Incompetency or inefficiency in the performance of duties of his/her position.
14.3.2 Insubordination (including, but not limited to, refusal to do assigned work).
14.3.3 Carelessness or negligence in the performance of duty or in the care or use of District property.
14.3.4 Discourteous, offensive, or abusive conduct or language toward other employees, pupils, the public, or any willful failure of good conduct tending to injure the public service.
Grounds for Discipline. An employee may be reprimanded, suspended, denied a merit increase, demoted or dismissed for any of the following reasons:

4. Negligence in the performance of duty;
5. Negligence in the care and/or use of District property or misuse of District property which places persons or property at risk;
6. Theft of District property, or personal use of District property without written authorization;
Grounds for Discipline. Discipline may be imposed for just cause, including without limitation for the following grounds:
(a) Fraud in securing appointment or falsification concerning records, fellow employees, or work performed.
(b) Failure to satisfactorily perform the duties and responsibilities of an employee’s position.
(c) Neglect of Duty.
