Guarantee of Hours Sample Clauses
A Guarantee of Hours clause ensures that an employee or contractor is assured a minimum number of paid working hours within a specified period, such as a week or month. This clause typically obligates the employer to provide, and compensate for, a set baseline of hours regardless of whether the actual work assigned meets that threshold. By establishing this guarantee, the clause provides income stability for the worker and helps prevent underemployment, addressing concerns about unpredictable or insufficient work schedules.
