Higher Rate of Pay Clause Samples
Higher Rate of Pay. Any employee already receiving a higher rate of pay than the minimum set forth in Appendix A for their classification shall suffer no reduction as a result of this Agreement, and nothing herein shall preclude the payment of a higher rate at the discretion of the Employer.
Higher Rate of Pay. (a) Any employee performing work classified at a higher rate of pay shall receive such higher rate of pay while occupying said classification.
(b) When the Employer requires an employee to perform work classified at a lower rate of pay, the employee shall receive their regular rate of pay while occupying said classification.
Higher Rate of Pay. Nothing herein shall prohibit the payment of a higher rate of pay or incentive commissions at the discre tion of the Employer, but such incentive commissions shall not be deemed wages for any purpose of this contract.
Higher Rate of Pay. An Employee filling in on a higher job title shall be paid the minimum of the higher job title or an extra thirty-five cents ($.35) per hour, whichever is higher, for the fill-in period, provided the Employee performs the major duties of the higher rated job.

Higher Rate of Pay. Where an employee in one classification is required to perform the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification for a period in excess of two (2) consecutive working days, the employee shall be paid for all such hours at the rate of pay for the position in which the employee is temporarily relieving.
Higher Rate of Pay. When any employee is assigned to cover a job carrying a higher rate of pay than the employee’s own rate of pay for the purpose of “on the job training” to further the employee’s training for the job, the employee shall receive the employee’s regular rate of pay.
Higher Rate of Pay. When an employee is temporarily assigned by the Employer to a job classification in the bargaining unit with a higher rate of pay, the employee shall receive the higher rate of pay while performing such work, provided that the employee works in the higher rated job classification for at least one (1) hour during his/her shift.
Higher Rate of Pay. Employees who are temporarily removed from their regular classification for one
(1) day or more and given work for which a higher rate is provided will be paid the higher rate for all the time spent working on the temporary job. However, any regular employee who is assigned to do temporary work at a job for which a lower rate is provided will not suffer any loss of pay and no rate reduction will be made in this event.
Higher Rate of Pay. If a higher rate of pay is given to an employee, then that rate of pay will be given to all employees in that classification.
