Holiday Tree Collection. Contractor must Collect Holiday Trees set out at the curb for 990 Collection during the three-week period beginning December 26th each year during the term of this 991 Agreement. Contractor must deliver the Collected Holiday Trees to the Organic Waste Processing Facility. 992 This annual service will be provided at no additional charge to the Service Recipient. Contractor is not 993 required to divert Holiday Trees with tinsel, flocking or ornaments.
Holiday Tree Collection. Contractor shall provide Holiday Tree Collection Service to Residential Premises of the Mixed Use Building in accordance with the Multi- Family Holiday Tree Collection Service requirements in Section 5.04.E.
Holiday Tree Collection. Contractor shall annually Collect Holiday Trees from Residential Premises from December 26 through January 31. Contractor shall provide this service on the regularly scheduled Organic Materials Collection Day. Contractor will be required to Collect trees or pieces of trees, which are eight feet (8’) or less in length, void of tinsel, lights, ornaments, other decorations, and metal or plastic stands (although flocked trees are acceptable) and are placed adjacent to an Organic Materials Cart. Contractor shall make accommodations and provide Collection service for Customers who are unable to cut trees into lengths of eight feet (8’) or less at no additional cost to the Customer or Agency. After January 31, Contractor will be required to Collect trees placed inside an Organic Materials Cart. These Collection parameters apply to both Special Handling and Backyard Collection Service. Contractor shall deliver a Bin or Drop Box for Holiday Tree Collection to Multi- Family Residential Complexes upon request of the Owner or property manager. Contractor shall provide this Collection service annually commencing December 26 and shall continue to provide this service as long as requests are submitted to Contractor, at no additional cost to Customer(s) or Agency. Holiday Tree Collection. Republic Services of Contra Costa County will provide curbside collection and recycling of holiday trees from Single-Family residential and Multi-Family customers during a one week period in January of each year of this agreement. This service will be provided at no cost to the customer. Republic Services of Contra Costa County will coordinate scheduling of the collection week with City Staff and conduct necessary promotion. Holiday trees, cut to a specified size, shall also be accepted in the yard waste collection program.
Holiday Tree Collection. Contractor shall offer to each Single‐Family Subscriber Curbside 1288 Collection of holiday trees beginning on the first Monday following New Year’s Day at no charge. 1289 In the event New Year’s Day is a Monday, holiday tree Collection shall commence on the first 1290 Tuesday following New Year’s Day and continue for fifteen (15) Business Days. Holiday trees shall 1291 be Collected on the Subscriber’s regular Collection day during the designated week(s). Contractor 1292 shall Collect holiday trees Curbside in Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda, and the unincorporated 1293 areas adjacent to these Member Agencies during the week containing the first Monday of January 1294 during Rate Year One. Contractor shall Collect holiday trees Curbside in Danville, Walnut Creek, 1295 and unincorporated areas adjacent to both Danville and Walnut Creek and in the unincorporated 1296 areas known as Alamo, Diablo, and Blackhawk during the week containing the second Monday of 1297 January during Rate Year One. Contractor shall each year alternate the portion of the Service Area 1298 that is Collected the first Monday in January. Contractor shall Collect any remaining holiday trees 1299 placed at the Curb in the entire CCCSWA Service Area on Subscriber’s regularly scheduled 1300 Collection day during the week containing the third Monday of each January. This provides 1301 Subscribers with two opportunities for Curbside holiday tree Collection. Subscriber notification 1302 requirements are specified in the public education plan, Exhibit A. 1303 J. Alternative Service Location for Disabled Single‐Family Subscribers. Contractor shall allow for 1304 Persons that have a disability as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (which means 1305 Public Law 101‐336, 104 Stat. 327, 42 U.S.C. §§ 12101‐12213 and 27 U.S.C. §§ 225 and 611, and all 1306 Federal rules and regulations relating thereto) that are Occupants of Single‐Family Premises to 1307 receive Collection services at a location other than Curbside, such as On‐Property Service, at no 1308 extra charge to the Subscriber. Contractor shall review all applications made by disabled 1309 Subscribers (which shall include statements from physicians) to determine conformance with this 1310 exemption provision and shall grant exemptions, if applicable. Holiday Tree Collection. CONTRACTOR shall Collect from Single-Family Customers un-flocked, and undecorated holiday trees that are placed Curbside during the two (2) week period beginning with the first Monday in January of each year as part of the Organic Materials services provided under this Agreement. To the extent they are properly set out, holiday trees shall be Collected on the regular Collection day for each Single-Family Customer during the two (2) week period, and delivered to the ▇▇▇▇▇ Street Transfer Station, or the Approved Organic Materials Processing Facility for Processing. Holiday tree Collection services shall be provided at no additional cost to the DISTRICT or the Customer. CONTRACTOR may require that holiday trees be cut into sections no greater than six feet (6’). Holiday trees that are flocked shall be Collected but may be delivered to the Designated Disposal Facility at the discretion of the CONTRACTOR. Holiday trees that contain tinsel or other decorations, or are attached to a tree stand are not required to be Collected; however, CONTRACTOR shall affix a Non-Collection Notice to the tree informing the Customer of the reason(s) for non-Collection. CONTRACTOR shall not be required to collect Bulky Items and Reusable Materials during the two (2) weeks Holiday Tree Collection period.

CONTRACTOR shall Collect holiday trees, or similar holiday bushes from Residential Customers and schools within the DISTRICT during the two (2) week period beginning with the first Monday in January 2010 and annually thereafter during the term of this Agreement as part of the Compostable Materials services provided under this Agreement. Holiday trees shall be Collected at the curb or in the case of schools at such collection point as is agreed to between the CONTRACTOR and the school. To the extent they are properly set out, holiday trees shall be Collected on the regular Collection day for each SFD Customer during the two (2) week period. At the end of the two (2) week period during the month of January, holiday tree Disposal by Residential Customers and schools in the DISTRICT must be made in the Roll-Out Carts provided to such Customers for the Collection of Compostable Materials under this Agreement. Contractor must deliver the Collected Holiday Trees to an appropriate Organic Waste 1653 Processing Facility for Diversion through uses other than Alternative Daily Cover or Beneficial Use. This 1654 annual service will be provided at no additional charge to the Service Recipient. Contractor is not required 1655 to divert Holiday Trees with tinsel, flocking or ornaments. 1656 11.09.4 Non-Collection. Contractor is not required to Collect Organic Waste if the Service 1657 Recipient does not segregate the Organic Waste from Solid Waste or Recyclable Materials. Furthermore, 1658 Contractor is not required to Collect Organic Wastes that are contaminated through commingling with Solid 1659 Waste or Recyclable Materials. Contractor will address contamination in accordance with Section 5.07. 1660 11.09.5 Manure Collection Service. Contractor shall Collect all Manure placed in an 1661 Organic Waste Container at least once per week, or more often if arranged between Service Recipient and 1662 Contractor. Service Recipients may be instructed not to fill the Containers above a specified line or weight, 1663 so as not to damage the Containers or Collection Vehicle, and City shall resolve any disputes regarding the 1664 maximum weight that may be accommodated in such Containers. All Manure collected shall be diverted 1665 from landfilling through composting or other means and may not be collected or commingled with Garbage. 1666 11.09.5.1 Manure Cart Collection. Contractor shall provide Manure 1667 Collection Service to any MFD Service Recipients that require and request a Cart for Manure Collection 1668 Service at no additional charge to the Service Recipient. 1669
Holiday Tree Collection. GreenWaste agrees to collect bare holiday trees at no additional charge to Residential Premises. Such trees must be cut to no more than three (3) feet in length and bundled for the month of January, and will only be collected on the Yard Waste collection service day.
