HOURS OF WORK AND RATES OF PAY. The normal working hours for all employees in the bargaining unit shall consist of eight hours per day and forty hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive. The hours of work listed below do not constitute a guaranteed minimum or maximum of hours in a day or week. (a) The normal starting shift of each week shall be at PM Sunday night. The last normal working shift will finish at PM Friday night. It is understood that the hours of work per day and week on certain operations may be flexible to meet operating requirements, but any decision regarding changes in hours will be discussed with the Plant Negotiating Committee and if a conclusion is not reached, the subject matter can be negotiated and forty-eight hours notification given to the employees concerned. The Company will supply the Union with the current list of hours of work. All hours worked in excess of normal hours as defined in Section of this Article shall be considered as overtime. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half times the regular rates of pay will be paid as follows: (a) For all hours worked in excess of eight hours in any twenty-four hour period. rate only. For all hours worked from PM Friday to PM Saturday and at this Payment for all hours worked from 1 PM Saturday to PM Sunday shall be at double the regular rate of pay, and at this rate only. An employee called in at the Company’s request for work not continuous with his scheduled shift, will be paid for a minimum of four hours at one and one-half times his regular rate of pay or at one and one-half times his regular rate of pay for the hours worked, whichever is greater. If the call-in is during the hours when overtime is payable at the double time rate under Section then payment for the four hours minimum or for hours worked, as stipulated above, will be at the double time rate. The minimums will not apply when such unscheduled work forms a continuous period with the employee’s regularly scheduled working hours and commences within one and one-half hours of his regularly scheduled working hours. An employee reporting for work on his regular shift, if sent home before the close of his regular shift, and required to report back for work within the twenty-four hours period, shall be paid time and for all hours worked on call back prior to the start of his next regular shift. Section 3. Time and one-half times the regular rates of pay will be paid as follows:

In the event a full- time bargaining unit employee does not have two (2) consecutive days off, employee shall be paid at the overtime rate for all work performed on the day preceding or succeeding employee's scheduled day off. A work schedule where an employee's usual and regularly scheduled days off are Sunday and Monday and thus not granting the employee two (2) consecutive days off within a given work week shall not be a violation of this agreement provided that such a work schedule allows for two (2) consecutive days off when combined with the work schedules of the preceding and following work weeks and provided that such a schedule shall otherwise comply with and be subject to the provisions of this agreement.
Section 4. When an employee is recalled for duty after completion of employee's daily assignments and after leaving the place of employment, employee shall be given a minimum of two (2) hours' additional work or a minimum of two (2) hours' additional pay at the applicable hourly rate.
Section 5. When an employee is called into work on employee's regular and established day off, employee shall be given a minimum of two (2) hours' work or a minimum of two (2) hours' pay at the applicable hourly rate.
Section 6. When an employee is sent out of Fort ▇▇▇▇▇ on an assignment which requires employee to remain away overnight, employee shall be credited with not less than one eight (8) hour shift for each day employee actually works on such assignment.
Section 7. The employer shall reimburse each employee for all reasonable traveling expenses when travel by such employee is required as authorized by the employer. In the event any employee is requested by the employer to use their own automobile for transportation in connection with their assigned duties, the employer shall reimburse such employee at the rate of pay or at one and onepaid non-half times his regular rate of pay Bargaining Unit employees for the hours worked, whichever is greatertravel required. If the call-in is during corporate rate increases, the hours when overtime is payable at the double time rate under Section then payment for the four hours minimum or for hours worked, as stipulated above, will be at the double time within this agreement shall adjust to that rate. The minimums will employer shall have the right to determine the method of transportation, except that employees shall not apply when such unscheduled work forms a continuous period with be required to use their own automobiles unless they consent thereto. Employees who do consent should carry liability insurance of $100,000/300,000 for their own protection or they may be denied the employee’s regularly scheduled working hours and commences within one and one-half hours of his regularly scheduled working hoursright to use their vehicles.
Section 8. An employee reporting for work in a pay classification who in any ninety (90) consecutive workday period performs the duties of another pay classification not less than fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled hours on his regular shift, if sent home before the close seventy-five (75) of his regular shift, and required to report back for work within the twenty-four hours periodsaid workdays, shall be paid time and for all hours worked on call back prior moved to said classification. An employee so moved shall be subject to a 340 work hour probationary period, which shall commence as of the date of the reclassification, provided that such probation shall apply to the start promotion only and the only action the employer may take under such probation shall be the demotion of his next regular shiftthe employee to the previous pay classification.
Section 9. No overtime will be paid Employees moving to a different classification shall have their wages set at the level commensurate with their experience in the following cases:their classification for their category.
