Included Bargaining Unit Work Sample Clauses

The 'Included Bargaining Unit Work' clause defines which tasks, duties, or job functions are recognized as belonging to employees represented by a specific bargaining unit under a collective bargaining agreement. It typically outlines the scope of work that union members are entitled to perform, such as specific operational, technical, or administrative responsibilities, and may clarify whether certain work can be assigned to non-union personnel or contractors. This clause serves to protect the job security of bargaining unit members by preventing the employer from reassigning their work to others, thereby maintaining the integrity of the bargaining unit and reducing disputes over job assignments.
