The Union may, at its option, meet with District representatives to review the proposed contracting out, in detail, discuss the reasons for the selected method of service delivery, discuss the financial and operational considerations, and consider more effective alternatives to contracting out - including possible Collective Agreement amendments. (c) This process is not intended to interfere with or delay District work but to provide a forum for open communications and exploring alternate proposals.

Information on Contracting Out. In cases of studies performed pursuant to the Commercial Activity (CA), the Employer agrees to inform the Union of any such possible proposed contracting out which may adversely affect members of the bargaining unit.
