Common use of Initial Certification Clause in Contracts

Initial Certification. Upon hire, professional/technical faculty will be issued an initial certification. The certification lasts for three (3) years. During the three- year period, the faculty member must complete a professional development plan. The professional development plan must include: (a) faculty member and administrator identification of professional development activities for professional growth; (b) measurable outcomes and objective standards for measurement of skill standard achievement; (c) timeline for successful achievement of outcomes. Initial certification is not renewable.
