Inspection and Testing of Materials Clause Samples
The 'Inspection and Testing of Materials' clause establishes the right and procedures for examining and verifying the quality and compliance of materials used in a project. Typically, it allows the owner or their representative to inspect materials at various stages—before delivery, upon arrival, or during installation—and may require the contractor to provide samples or facilitate third-party testing. This clause ensures that only materials meeting specified standards are used, thereby reducing the risk of defects, ensuring safety, and maintaining project quality.
