Common use of Interruption of Vacation Clause in Contracts

Interruption of Vacation. An employee in the bargaining unit shall be permitted to interrupt or terminate vacation leave in order to begin sick leave provided the employee supplies notice and the explicit written statement of a licensed physician that the employee is ill or injured.
