Librarians and Archivists with Previous Experience. Librarians and archivists may be appointed at any rank. Except in unusual circumstances, a candidate should complete at least one year of service at York before being considered for a continuing appointment. The Pre-▇▇▇▇▇- ▇▇▇▇ and Candidacy periods may be shortened for librar- ians and archivists with service elsewhere. Librarians and archivists appointed as Associate or Senior Librarians will enter Candidacy upon appointment, unless an agreement to the contrary has been reached between the ▇▇▇▇, University Libraries/▇▇▇▇, Faculty of Law and the candidate.
