Location of Classes. Dual credit courses may be taught on one of Hill College’s campus/centers, online, through distance learning, or on the high school campus. For dual credit courses taught exclusively to high school students on the high school campus and for dual credit/concurrent credit courses taught electronically, Hill College shall comply with applicable rules and procedures relating to Distance Education and Off-Campus Instruction. In addition, dual credit courses taught electronically shall comply with the Texas Higher EducationPrinciples of Good Practice for Academic Degree and Certificate Programs and Credit Courses Offered Electronically” and Hill College’s standards for distance learning courses.

For dual credit courses taught exclusively to high school students on the high school campus and for dual credit courses taught electronically, McLennan Community College complies with applicable rules and procedures for offering courses at a distance. In addition, dual credit courses taught electronically comply with the THECB’s Principles of Good Practice for Courses Offered Electronically.
Location of Classes. Dual/Concurrent credit courses may be taught on one of NTCC’s campuses, online, through distance learning, or on the high school campus. For dual/concurrent credit courses taught exclusively to high school students on the high school campus and for dual/concurrent credit courses taught electronically, NTCC - shall comply with applicable rules and procedures for offering courses at a distance in §§4.101 - 4.108 of this title (relating to Distance Education and Off-Campus Instruction). In addition, dual/concurrent credit courses taught electronically shall comply with the Board's adopted “Principles of Good Practice for Courses Offered Electronically.”
Location of Classes a. Dual credit courses are taught on the College campus or designated satellite sites, on the high school campus during the high school day, or online. The College shall comply with applicable rules and procedures for offering courses at a distance in § 4.101 – 4.108 of THECB Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 4, Subchapter E relating to Distance Education and Off-Campus Instruction. In addition, dual credit courses taught electronically shall comply with the THECB adopted Principles of Good Practices for Courses Offered Electronically. b. Dual Credit courses taught on the high school campus shall be taught in a classroom that is, at a minimum, equipped with a computer, projector, projection screen, dry erase board, and a document camera (or similar device). i. The high school shall ensure the COM professors have access to the classroom the week before classes start to check instructional technology, classroom set up, etc. ii. The high school shall ensure the COM professors have parking passes, school ID and classroom keys issued the week before classes start. iii. The high school shall ensure the COM professors have access to the classroom upon arrival for class and have an identified space to offer office hours to assist students outside of the classroom.
Location of Classes. College Preparatory Courses developed will be held on the campus of the School District high schools offering the course(s).

District administration will ensure the institution and dual credit classrooms have adequate physical resources to support the mission of the institution and the scope of its programs and services: a. The classroom used to teach dual credit courses and lab courses provides an adequate environment for a minimum of 25 students. b. The classroom used to teach dual credit courses and lab courses is an adequate environment with few or no interruptions. c. The classroom used to teach dual credit courses and lab courses is located as far as possible from the main student traffic areas. d. The classroom used to teach dual credit courses and lab courses contains the technology and equipment adequate and appropriate for the learning outcomes to be demonstrated for the course being offered. e. The library provides and supports student and faculty access to adequate library collections and services and to other learning/information resources consistent with the degrees offered. Collections, resources, and services are sufficient to support all of its educational, research, and public service programs. f. The high school provides student support programs, services, and activities consistent with its mission that are intended to promote student learning and enhance the development of its students. Location of Classes. Dual credit courses may be taken at a TJC site, online, or at the high school site. In the event of a natural disaster or other emergency, alternative arrangement will be coordinated between TJC and the District. Location of Classes. The high school campus and/or classrooms may be used to conduct college classes for dual credit / concurrent for the purposes of this agreement. If the course is held on the District campus and there are additional costs associated with the GC faculty teaching on-site (i.e., background checks), the District requesting this requirement is responsible for this additional cost.

Location of Classes a) The location of the dual credit Program courses will be held at the College’s campus, high school campus or an approved instructional site in accordance with SACSCOC standards. The College will comply with Applicable Law for offering courses at a distance. In addition, college courses taught electronically shall comply with the THECB’s adopted Principles of Good Practice for Courses Offered Electronically. The College shall be responsible for the maintenance and operations at the SJCCD campus(es). For college classes taught on ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Academy facilities, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Academy shall be responsible for maintenance and operation at those facilities. Students must comply with all SJCCD policies, rules, and regulations relating to conduct while on College property. b) The high school will work with the College to ensure that the high school’s facilities meet the expectations and criteria required for college classes and are conducive to college-level instruction and learning by the first day of class including: • Ensuring that college faculty and dual credit students have appropriate access to all available instructional facilities, resources, and essential technology. • Designating a classroom for the dual credit classes which is away from high traffic and disruptions. • Displaying the signs provided by the College outside of the classroom that indicate “College Course is in Session”. • Assuring no or extremely minimal interruptions take place in the College dual credit class while in session, such as bells or tones indicating class changes, removing students for high school activities, or making announcements, except for emergencies. • Permitting access to the College’s electronic learning resources, including adjusting firewalls, when the course is taught at the high school. • Ensuring that any science course classrooms meet the laboratory safety standards and have material/equipment required for College courses available in all labs in which classes are being taught to comply with the College science program requirements. • Students enrolled in the dual credit program attending classes at SJCCD must adhere to the SJCCD policies and procedures in the Code of Student Conduct. ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/student-handbook/code-student-conduct/ • Students enrolled in dual credit classes at the high school must adhere to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Academy code of student conduct or student handbook.
