Safety features have been built into the system that restricts the use of the ping function to when users are in an active session only, outside of being in an active session the ability to ping the user isn’t available. This function is built into the platform to establish the users current location which may have changed since they started the session. Pinging a user should only be used in the following instances • When they have missed a check-in • Triggered an SOS Whilst a user is in either of these two instances pinging may be carried out by an ARC operative on regular occasions, if required, to provide the information to key holders, until the user is safe.
