Matching Requirement Clause Samples
A Matching Requirement clause obligates one party to match the terms of an offer or proposal made by a third party before certain actions can proceed, such as the sale of assets or renewal of contracts. In practice, this means that if a third party presents a competing offer, the party with matching rights must be given the opportunity to accept the same terms within a specified timeframe. This clause ensures that the party with matching rights is not disadvantaged by outside offers and helps maintain their position or interest in the underlying agreement.
Matching Requirement. The school district's contribution, in any event, shall not exceed the employee's matching contribution within the limitations of this Article.
Matching Requirement. Grantee certifies that the following matching requirement for the Grant will be met by Grantee. The total project cost is $5,445,990.00 The Grantee agrees to provide a nonstate cash match of a least $3,310,990.00 or the amount required to complete the project, whichever is greater.
Matching Requirement. 576.201 Contractor must make matching contributions to supplement the ESG program funding received under this Agreement. Matching contributions may be obtained from any source, including any Federal source other than the ESG program, as well as state, local and private sources. However, the following requirements apply to matching contributions from a Federal source of funds:
(i) The recipient must ensure the laws governing any funds to be used as matching contributions do not prohibit those funds from being used to match Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds.
(ii) If ESG funds are used to satisfy the matching requirements of another Federal program, then funding from that program may not be used to satisfy the matching requirements under this section.
Matching Requirement. The Subrecipient agrees to provide cash contribution match equal ($1 to $1 match requirement) to the amount awarded under this Agreement. Subrecipient agrees to comply with the requirements outlined in the Match Requirements and Report form attached to this agreement (“Exhibit C”) and provide a completed version of this form with all required attachments no later than January 31 following a completed year of ESG programming.
Matching Requirement. The Company shall obtain non-Commission funding commitments for the Project in an amount at least equal to the Grant (i.e., the Commission will fund no more than fifty percent (50%) of the costs related to the Project). Prior to the disbursement of any Grant funds, Grantee shall provide documentation satisfactory to the Commission of the Company’s eligible non-Commission funds. Non-Commission funds expended prior to the Award Date are not eligible. Unless otherwise approved by the Commission, eligible non-Commission funds shall mean cash available to the Company to pay costs related to the Project.
Matching Requirement. 24 CFR 576.201: The SUBRECIPIENT must make matching contributions to supplement the SUBRECIPIENT’S ESG program in an amount that equals the SUBRECIPIENT’s fiscal year grant for ESG program, including any SUBRECIPIENT’s ESG project. To be recognized as match for ESG, each contribution must meet the requirements under 2 CFR 200.306.
Matching Requirement. The Contractor shall follow the Program Regulations found in Title 24, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 582 (“Program Regulations”) to assure that the supportive services are adequate. The program regulations, at Section 582.110, require that the supportive services be appropriate to the needs of the population being served, at least equal in value to the aggregate amount of rental assistance funded by HUD, and funded from sources other than the Program. The Program Regulations, at Section 582.110(c), define what may count as matching supportive services. The Contractor shall report to the Authority on compliance with this match requirement in a form and manner specified by the Authority. SAMPLE The Authority will require payments from the Contractor, should the Contractor at any time not be in full compliance with 24 CFR 582.110, Matching requirements, until the aggregate amount of supportive services at least equals in value the aggregate amount of Tenant-Based Rental Assistance provided by the Authority.
Matching Requirement. The Secretary may not make a grant to a State under this section unless that State agrees that, with respect to the costs to be in- curred by the State in carrying out the activi- ties for which the grant was awarded, the State will provide non-Federal contributions in an amount equal to not less than 40 percent of Fed- eral funds provided under the grant. Matching Requirement a. Section 525(C) of the Harbors and Navigation Code states, “A grant awarded by the department pursuant to subparagraph (A) shall be matched by a 10-percent contribution from the local agency receiving the grant.”
b. The 10-percent contribution is in addition to funds awarded in the grant.
c. The burden of proof in complying with the 10-percent contribution requirement is the responsibility of the grantee. Grant funds will not be disbursed until the grantee has provided DBW with acceptable documentation that it complied with the 10-percent contribution requirement for each disbursement.
Matching Requirement. Amounts made available under section 1804 of this title should be matched by an equal amount of non-Federal funds for the national media campaign, or be matched with in-kind contribu- tions to the campaign of the same value.
