Common use of Meal and Rest Periods Clause in Contracts

Meal and Rest Periods. Nurses shall receive an unpaid meal period of one-half (1/2) hour and a paid rest period of fifteen (15) minutes in each four (4) hour period of work. Nurses required to work during this meal period shall be compensated for such work at the appropriate rate.
