Measurement of Net Energy Sample Clauses

The "Measurement of Net Energy" clause defines how the net amount of energy delivered or consumed is calculated and verified under an agreement. Typically, this involves specifying the methods, equipment, and intervals used to measure energy flows, such as using utility-grade meters or third-party verification. By establishing clear procedures for measuring net energy, the clause ensures both parties have a transparent and agreed-upon basis for billing, performance assessment, and dispute resolution, thereby minimizing misunderstandings and potential conflicts.
Measurement of Net Energy. Bi‐direction metering equipment shall be installed to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction. The bi‐directional metering equipment shall be installed at the Customer’s expense. The bi‐directional metering equipment shall be used to provide information necessary to accurately ▇▇▇▇ or credit Customer and to collect electrical generating system performance information for research purposes.
Measurement of Net Energy. A meter shall be installed to measure the flow of energy in each direction. Member/Owner shall be responsible for all expenses involved in purchasing and installing facilities necessary for the meter installation.
Measurement of Net Energy. Bi-direction metering equipment (“Net Meter”) shall be installed to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction. The bi-directional metering equipment shall be installed at the Customer’s expense. The bi-directional metering equipment shall be used to provide information necessary to accurately ▇▇▇▇ or credit Customer and to collect electrical generating system performance information for research purposes. A Production Meter will also be installed by the City, at the City’s expense, near the bi-direction meter. The Production Meter shall be used to measure the flow of electrical energy from the Facility for research purposes and determining total usage of the connection.
Measurement of Net Energy. A meter shall be installed to measure the flow of energy in each direction.
Measurement of Net Energy. A Customer’s generating facility used for net metering shall be equipped with metering equipment that can measure the flow of electricity in both directions. The City will install a meter capable of measuring bi-directional energy flow at the customer’s expense. The bi-directional metering equipment shall be used to provide information necessary to accurately ▇▇▇▇ or credit Customer and to collect electrical generating system performance information for research purposes.
Measurement of Net Energy. Bi-directional metering equipment may be installed by the CLPUD at its expense to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction. This equipment shall be used only to provide information for research purposes.
Measurement of Net Energy. Bi-directional metering equipment shall be installed to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction. All service shall be billed pursuant to Lower Valley’s current rate tariff including tariff facility charges. If the electricity supplied by the customer exceeds that supplied by Lower Valley the Customer shall be credited or compensated for the excess kilowatt-hours generated during the month with the kilowatt-hour credit or compensation appearing on the ▇▇▇▇ for the following month. At the beginning of each calendar year, any remaining unused kilowatt-hour credit accumulated during the previous year shall be sold to Lower Valley at their filed avoided non-firm energy cost.
Measurement of Net Energy. A bi-directional meter shall be in installed to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction. The bi-directional meter shall be installed at Co-op’s expense. The bi-directional meter shall be used to Print Form provide information necessary to accurately bill or credit Customer and to collect electrical generating system performance information for research purposes.
Measurement of Net Energy. Bi-directional metering equipment shall be installed by the Cooperative at its expense to measure the flow of electrical energy in each direction. This equipment shall be used only to provide information necessary to accurately bill or credit the Customer-generator or to collect electric generating system performance information for research purposes.

  • Electric Storage Resources Developer interconnecting an electric storage resource shall establish an operating range in Appendix C of its LGIA that specifies a minimum state of charge and a maximum state of charge between which the electric storage resource will be required to provide primary frequency response consistent with the conditions set forth in Articles 9.5.5, 9.5.5.1, 9.5.5.2, and 9.5.5.3 of this Agreement. Appendix C shall specify whether the operating range is static or dynamic, and shall consider (1) the expected magnitude of frequency deviations in the interconnection; (2) the expected duration that system frequency will remain outside of the deadband parameter in the interconnection; (3) the expected incidence of frequency deviations outside of the deadband parameter in the interconnection; (4) the physical capabilities of the electric storage resource; (5) operational limitations of the electric storage resources due to manufacturer specification; and (6) any other relevant factors agreed to by the NYISO, Connecting Transmission Owner, and Developer. If the operating range is dynamic, then Appendix C must establish how frequently the operating range will be reevaluated and the factors that may be considered during its reevaluation. Developer’s electric storage resource is required to provide timely and sustained primary frequency response consistent with Article 9.5.5.2 of this Agreement when it is online and dispatched to inject electricity to the New York State Transmission System and/or receive electricity from the New York State Transmission System. This excludes circumstances when the electric storage resource is not dispatched to inject electricity to the New York State Transmission System and/or dispatched to receive electricity from the New York State Transmission System. If Developer’s electric storage resource is charging at the time of a frequency deviation outside of its deadband parameter, it is to increase (for over-frequency deviations) or decrease (for under-frequency deviations) the rate at which it is charging in accordance with its droop parameter. Developer’s electric storage resource is not required to change from charging to discharging, or vice versa, unless the response necessitated by the droop and deadband settings requires it to do so and it is technically capable of making such a transition.

  • Allocation of Resources Whenever a disaster causes Vendor to allocate limited resources between or among Vendor's customers, vendor will not provide priority over Prudential to any other customers of Vendor. In addition, in no event will Vendor re-deploy or reassign any vendor Key Employee (as identified and defined in an applicable Engagement Schedule) or any Affected Employee (as identified and defined in an applicable Engagement Schdule) to any other Vendor account in the event of a disaster.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Temperature Measurement Temperature will be measured by the nearest automatic Melbourne Bureau of Meteorology Monitoring Station for example (but not limited to): Melbourne, Moorabbin, Dunns Hill, Melbourne Airport, Frankston, and Point ▇▇▇▇▇▇. At the commencement of each project, the onsite management and employee representatives shall agree which is to be the applicable automatic weather monitoring station.

  • CERTIFICATION REGARDING BOYCOTTING CERTAIN ENERGY COMPANIES (Texas law as of September 1, 2021) By submitting a proposal to this Solicitation, you certify that you agree, when it is applicable, to the following required by Texas law as of September 1, 2021: If (a) company is not a sole proprietorship; (b) company has ten (10) or more full-time employees; and (c) this contract has a value of $100,000 or more that is to be paid wholly or partly from public funds, the following certification shall apply; otherwise, this certification is not required.
