Mechanical Breakdown Clause Samples
The Mechanical Breakdown clause defines the responsibilities and procedures in the event that equipment or machinery fails to operate due to a mechanical issue. Typically, this clause outlines which party is responsible for repairs, the timeframe for addressing the breakdown, and any obligations to notify the other party. For example, in a lease or service agreement, it may specify whether the owner or the user must arrange and pay for repairs. The core function of this clause is to allocate responsibility and minimize disputes by clearly stating how mechanical failures are managed and resolved.
