Meter Data Clause Samples
The Meter Data clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to the collection, sharing, and use of data recorded by utility meters, such as those measuring electricity, gas, or water consumption. Typically, this clause specifies which party is responsible for providing accurate meter readings, how often data must be reported, and the format or method for data transmission. By establishing clear guidelines for meter data management, the clause ensures transparency in billing, helps prevent disputes over usage, and supports accurate invoicing between parties.
