Mixed Function. An employee appointed by the Company to perform work for which a higher rate than the employee's ordinary rate is prescribed by this agreement shall be paid the higher rate for the time so worked, and if so engaged for more than four (4) hours shall be paid the higher rate for the whole of the day.
Mixed Function. Employees may perform any of the non-supervising duties required within the distribution centre at the same specified rate of pay, but would receive the higher team leader rate of pay based on the following: an employee engaged for two or more hours per day, shall receive the team leader rate for the whole day. an employee engaged for less than two hours on any day, shall receive the team leader rate whilst so employed.
Mixed Function. Employees engaged for more than two (2) hours during a day or shift on duties carrying a higher rate than their ordinary classification shall be paid the higher rate for such day or shift. If for two (2) hours or less during one (1) day or shift the employee shall be paid the higher rate for the time so worked.
Mixed Function. Notwithstanding the higher duties clause, to ensure the flexibility of the workforce and to meet the operational requirements of the business, an employee may be engaged to undertake a mixed function role. Whilst the employee’s primary contract of employment is that as outlined in their letter of appointment; from time to time, as outlined in the roster they may undertake shifts and/or part of a shift in a different function to enhance multi-skilling.
Mixed Function. Where any person on any one day is appointed to relieve at a higher level, to which a differential rate fixed by this Agreement is applicable, such person, if employed for more than 4 hours on the level carrying the higher rate, shall be paid in respect of the whole time during which the employee works on that day at the same rate, which shall be at the highest rate fixed by the Agreement in respect of any such work, and if employed for 4 hours or less on the level carrying a higher rate, the employee shall be paid at such highest rate for 4 hours. Mixed Function. 11.5.1. Any employee who is competent to perform a higher level job, and works at that job for in excess of an hour, will be entitled to be paid at the rate applicable to the higher level job for all hours worked. 11.5.2. Where a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ person or boner is required to work at a lower level job on a temporary basis, they will be entitled to be paid at the applicable ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ person/boner rate (but will not be paid any bonus/tally payment). 11.5.3. Where the Employer transfers an employee from one classification to another classification, without notice on the proceeding day, the employee directed to transfer shall be supplied by the employer with any special and/or protective clothing as prescribed by this agreement and where necessary shall be allowed reasonable time for washing and cleaning before transfer.
Mixed Function. 23.1 An employee shall be classified based on their Primary Function as follows: (a) According to the duties ordinarily performed within the one classification level that they spend a minimum of five (5) hours a day performing. (b) Employees will be required to rotate their functions within the skill level of their primary classification level and below as well as at higher classification as required. 23.2 Employees working at a higher classification level regularly and consistently, and this is not for temporary relief or training, shall be paid at the rate of pay applicable for the higher classification level for the time worked at that higher level. Such period of time and rate of pay to be agreed between the employee and the Company.
Mixed Function. Where an Employee on any day performs work in a classification attracting a higher rate of pay then such higher rate of pay shall apply for the whole day.
Mixed Function. The parties agree that when an employee is “relieving” the Team Leader the following payment arrangements will apply: • hours worked greater than or equal to 4.5 hours when the Team Leader is not available for normal operational duties will be paid at ME 7 for the complete day. Prior to leaving the work site, the Team Leader will nominate the person to act in his/her absence; • should an employee be nominated by the Team Leader to be the Team Leader in his/her absence for one (1) day or more, the employee will be paid at the TL Rate (1st increment). A qualifying period of five (5) consecutive days applies on the first occasion. Should they have not qualified; the ME 7 rate will be paid; • in circumstances of particular work groups (i.e. high OH&S risks), it will be the responsibility of the Team Leader to appoint a person to act in lieu of the Team Leader during his/her absence. The person appointed will be paid for the time so worked (i.e. hour for hour basis) until greater than 4.5 hours; when greater than 4.5 hours the employee will be paid ME 7 for the full day and • hours paid under the first three dot points will not be accumulated for the purposes of reclassification. The conditions of the Local Government Employees Award will apply for all other higher duties and mixed functions.
