Mobilization Payment Sample Clauses

A Mobilization Payment clause defines the terms under which an initial payment is made to a contractor or service provider at the start of a project to cover upfront costs. Typically, this payment is issued before substantial work begins and may be calculated as a percentage of the total contract value or as a fixed sum. The clause ensures that the contractor has sufficient funds to mobilize resources, purchase materials, and commence work, thereby reducing financial barriers to project initiation and facilitating timely project startup.
