(4) Pursuant to Clause 15.3(c) of the Agreement, any shortfall arising from designated paid holidays falling within the schedule shall be scheduled by mutual agreement when the schedule is drawn up. If an employee chooses not to work the scheduled shortfall, the hours can be transferred from vacation entitlements when the schedule is drawn up. (h) Employees working in a position with a flextime schedule, pursuant to Clause 15.7, who accept a temporary assignment that qualifies for a modified workweek schedule, pursuant to Clause 15.11, will switch to the new schedule for the length of the temporary assignment.

(3) The workday shall be seven hours and 30 minutes in duration with the extra time worked accumulated and (i) scheduled by mutual agreement at the local level as a day off every three weeks on Monday or Friday, or (ii) scheduled by mutual agreement at the local level as lieu days pursuant to Clause 13.7(a) (Conversion of Hours - Lieu Days) of this Agreement. (4) The foregoing work schedules shall be subject to the following provisions: (1i) It is understood that the implementation of modified workweek work schedules is dependent on receiving confirmation from the Commission Employer prior to implementation. (2ii) There shall be equitable rotation of the extra days off as mutually agreed at the local level. (3iii) Pursuant to Clause 15.3(b13.7(b) (Conversion of Hours - Vacation) of the Agreement, for vacation purposes employees Employees shall remain on the agreed work schedules and vacation entitlement shall be converted to hours. The scheduled daily hours shall be deducted from the vacation entitlement for each day of vacation taken. (4iv) Pursuant to Clause 15.3(c13.7(c) (Conversion of Hours - Designated Paid Holidays) of the this Agreement, any shortfall arising from designated paid holidays falling within the schedule shall be scheduled by mutual agreement when within the schedule is drawn up. If an employee chooses not to work two week period following the scheduled shortfall, the hours can be transferred from vacation entitlements when the schedule is drawn updesignated holiday. (1b) The extra day off If there is scheduled by not mutual agreement at agreement, the local level on Monday manager will provide the Employee with reasons in writing and an Employee may refer their request to Friday; or (2) Is scheduled by mutual agreement within the applicable cycle in(c) (1) aboveJoint Labour/Management Committee for recommendation. (1c) Where as a result Modified Work Schedules can start on any date, but must expire on an annual basis on April 30th of Article 15.11(a)(i) and 15.11(a)(iv) surplus days off are to be scheduled in when the schedule is drawn up, subject to operational requirements and to any vacation entitlements arising from preferences gained by seniorityeach year. (2) Notwithstanding (1) above, up to seven (7) surplus days may be taken with the employee’s first (1st) vacation entitlement at the employee’s option, subject only to vacation entitlements arising from preferences gained by seniority. All remaining surplus days shall be scheduled in when the schedule is drawn up.
