NEGOTIATING AND GRIEVANCE COMMITTEES. 4:01 Negotiating Committee: A Negotiating Committee shall be appointed and shall consist of not more than three members who are employees of the City. The Union will advise the City of the Union nominees to the Committee.

The Company also acknowledges the right of the Local Union to appoint a Grievance Committee of not more than three members to attend to the third and fourth steps of the grievance procedure. 7.03 Stewards and members of the Grievance Committee shall obtain permission from their ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ before leaving their post to investigate an alleged grievance. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When resuming their regular duties they will report to their ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. 7.04 The Union agrees to supply the Company in writing with the names of the members constituting the Grievance Committee and will keep such list up to date at all times.

  • Grievance Committee The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of the Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and not more than (as set out in Local Provisions Appendix) employees selected by the Union who have completed their probationary period. A general representative of the Union may be present at any meeting of the Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to deal with complaints or grievances as set out in this Collective Agreement. The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of the members of the Grievance Committee appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. A Committee member shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent during their regular scheduled working hours in attending grievance meetings with the Hospital up to, but not including arbitration. The number of employees on the Grievance Committee shall be determined locally.

  • Negotiations Committee At all negotiations meetings with the Employer representatives for a renewal of this Agreement, the Union may be represented by a negotiations committee composed of five (5) bargaining unit members. No deduction from the regular pay of such Employees will be made for attendance at such meetings with the Employer’s representatives held during the Employee's regular working hours. The Union has the right to have up to an additional five (5) members, including Union Officers, on the Negotiating Committee at no cost to the Employer.

  • Recognition of Union Stewards and Grievance Committee In order to provide an orderly and speedy procedure for the settling of grievances, the Employer acknowledges the rights and duties of the Union Stewards. The ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall assist any Employee, which the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ represents, in preparing and presenting her grievance in accordance with the grievance procedure.

  • Local Negotiating Committee (a) A negotiating committee of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the union including the bargaining unit president. (b) The Employer shall pay representatives of the Negotiating Committee their respective salaries for all time lost from regularly scheduled hours negotiating the Collective Agreement and renewals thereof, up to and including conciliation and mediation. It is agreed that the employer is not responsible for accommodation, parking, transportation and food costs associated with the employee’s participation in bargaining. Mileage allowance provisions will remain status quo at all LHINs.

  • Labour Management Relations Committee In recognition of the mutual benefits of open communications and on-going consultation between the faculty and the employer, the Labour/Management Relations Committee will meet on a regular basis and have equal representation for the Union and the Employer. The LMRC will serve as an open forum for the free and candid discussion of matters of mutual concern to faculty members and management.
