Common use of No Disadvantage Clause in Contracts

No Disadvantage. 8.1 No Employee shall suffer any loss or diminution of entitlements (whether accrued or otherwise) or terms and conditions of employment by reason of this Agreement coming into force other than where expressly varied by this Agreement. 8.2 It is agreed that the terms and conditions of employment (including the rates of pay) as set out in this Agreement will be the minimum terms for Employees working in the classifications covered by the Agreement. It is not intended by the parties to this Agreement that the making of this Agreement would displace any pre-existing arrangements which have already been entered into at the local level.
