Notification of Positions. All teaching vacancies and new positions shall be posted in the school for a minimum of three (3) school days. Concurrently, copies of all postings shall be forwarded to the Unit President. The positions shall be posted as they occur. Any teacher on staff wishing to apply for such a position may do so in writing.
Notification of Positions. The Board of Education shall notify such teachers of the availability of a position by certified mail addressed to the teacher's last known address or by contacting the employee in person by phone call and email. Such notifications shall be sent to teachers in order of their seniority.
Notification of Positions. The Corporation shall notify the Union in writing of any new or amended position engaged in the Public Health DepartmentEmergency Medical Service (EMS) save and except those management positions as provided for under Article 2.01. A meeting shall be held if requested by the Union to discuss employee group jurisdiction of any new position. If agreement cannot be reached, the matter shall proceed to Step 1 and the balance of the grievance procedure. For any bargaining unit position, it is understood that a change in job title alone shall not constitute a change in bargaining unit status.
Notification of Positions. When a new position or position vacancy occurs within the bargaining unit, the position opening shall be posted at each site and SWWC website. Qualified employees in the bargaining unit shall have the opportunity to apply during the posting period. SWWC shall attempt to place the most qualified person applying into said position. However, SWWC reserves the right to ensure that the most qualified person is placed in any position. SWWC may also place a substitute into said position on a temporary basis to meet immediate needs.

  • Posting of Positions Notice of any opening for a promotional position shall be posted in all schools and departments by the Division of Human Resources & Equity.

  • Filling of Positions The parties agree that all appointments to vacancies covered by this Agreement shall be filled by the Employer with the procedure outlined in this Article. The parties recognize that the Employer has the exclusive authority to determine if and when vacancies are to be filled and the qualifications required of those positions.

  • NOTIFICATION OF PUBLIC EVENTS AND MEETINGS 17 A. CONTRACTOR shall notify ADMINISTRATOR of any public event or meeting funded in whole 18 or in part by COUNTY, except for those events or meetings that are intended solely to serve Clients or 19 occur in the normal course of business. 20 B. CONTRACTOR shall notify ADMINISTRATOR at least thirty (30) business days in advance of 21 any applicable public event or meeting. The notification must include the date, time, duration, location 22 and purpose of the public event or meeting. Any promotional materials or event related flyers must be 23 approved by ADMINISTRATOR prior to distribution. 24

  • Application of Policy The policy is to apply to everyone on site without distinction.

  • Abandonment of Position An employee who fails to report for duty for three consecutive working days without informing the Employer of the reason for their absence will be presumed to have abandoned their position. An employee will be afforded the opportunity within 10 days to rebut such presumption and demonstrate that there were reasonable grounds for not informing the Employer.
