OBLIGATIONS AND LIABILITY OF CONTRACTOR Clause Samples

The "Obligations and Liability of Contractor" clause defines the contractor's responsibilities and the extent to which they are legally accountable for their actions or omissions under the contract. Typically, this clause outlines the standards of performance expected from the contractor, such as delivering work on time, meeting quality requirements, and complying with relevant laws and regulations. It may also specify the contractor's liability for damages, defects, or losses resulting from their work, and can include requirements for insurance or indemnification. The core function of this clause is to clearly allocate risk and responsibility, ensuring that both parties understand the contractor's duties and the consequences of failing to meet them.
