Office Environment. 1. IAW 41 CFR § 102-79, the Agency will provide a quality workplace environment that supports program operations.
Office Environment. 1. The Agency will provide, upon employee request and within budget constraints, office accommodations and equipment which reduce or eliminate the risk of prolong sitting and staring at computer video monitors. These items include, but are not limited to, eye and posture protective devices such as screen covers, ergonomic keyboards, mice, chairs, and desks to those employees who do a substantial amount of computer terminal work.

Office Environment. The Parties will address issues regarding the office environment, such as temperature and air and water quality on an on-going basis. The supervisor in charge at each work site will monitor conditions within the office which may adversely affect employees. When the temperature in an office drops below 65º or rises above 85º and this condition cannot be rectified within two (2) hours, reasonable accommodation including early dismissal will be considered, providing no work exists that can be performed out of the office. Employees will be expected to report for duty on the following scheduled work day. The Employer will assure that each MARO worksite is provided with a thermometer. Potable water and reasonably clean and safe lavatory facilities are basic human amenities. When an interruption in services occurs that cannot be restored within one (1) hour, the Employer will authorize employees to utilize alternative facilities on the premises or elsewhere as arranged by the Employer and agreed to by the Union. Transportation will be provided by the Employer upon request if available. If this is not possible, the office may be closed for the remainder of that day.

Depending on the circumstance, the Employer may either direct employees who are eligible and telework ready to complete their tour of duty at an approved alternate work site or grant administrative leave. Office Environment. Management agrees, on a case-by-case basis, to provide environmental standards, e.g., HVAC and lighting, etc. until 7:30 p.m. local time.

Equipment (i.e., telephonic, computer/printer/fax, etc.) shall be of similar quality and performance capability; and, c. Furnishings (i.e., office chairs, desks, file cabinets, etc.) shall be of similar quality and condition.

  • Working Environment The parties agree that a safe and clean working environment is essential in order to carry out work assignments in a satisfactory manner. The Employer commits to investigate the use of environmentally friendly products. It will be the Employer's responsibility to ensure that all working areas and employer-owned vehicles are maintained in a safe and clean condition.

  • Work Environment It is mutually agreed that the prevention of accidents and injuries to state employees will result in greater efficiency of operations of state government. Toward this end, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions and the Union shall fully cooperate by encouraging all employees to perform their assigned tasks in a safe manner.
