Out of Class Pay. 7.8.1 An employee who is authorized to work in a classification other than his/her own shall be paid out of class pay. Upon working out of classification five (5) days in a fifteenfifteen (15) day period in the same assignment, the employee will be paid on the salary range for the position at the step which is at least 3% above the employee’s current salary. Employees at the top end of the pay schedule shall be paid at the unit member’s current step and the range of the higher classification in which the employee is working.
