Overdraft Service Sample Clauses
The Overdraft Service clause defines the terms under which a bank or financial institution allows an account holder to withdraw more money than is available in their account, effectively creating a temporary negative balance. This service typically applies to checking accounts and may involve fees, interest charges, or specific limits on the amount that can be overdrawn. Its core practical function is to provide customers with short-term access to additional funds in situations where their account balance is insufficient, thereby helping to prevent declined transactions or bounced checks.
