Overtime or Call. out Which Does not Abut the Succeeding Shift: (1) When overtime is worked there shall be an elapsed time of eight hours between the end of overtime and the time the employee reports for duty on the next regular shift, with no shortfall out of their regular shift. (2) In a call-out situation where at least three hours which do not abut the succeeding shift are worked in the 10 hours preceding the start of the regular shift, there shall be an elapsed time of eight hours between the end of call-out and the time the employee reports for duty on their next regular shift, with no shortfall out of the regular shift. (3) If the elapsed eight-hour period following results in only two hours or less of their regular shift available for work, employees shall not be required to report for work on that shift, with no shortfall.
