Overtime Rotation. The Sheriff or his or her designee will be the determining authority on the necessity of overtime. The Sheriff or his or her designee shall be responsible for calling the necessary personnel and the Employer shall maintain a current list of employees by seniority for purposes of call in assignments. If the designated patrol person (#2) does not report for work, other sergeants may be contacted to fill the vacancy. If no sergeants accept the overtime, it will be offered to patrol.
