Overtime Rotation. Overtime Rotation. The amount of overtime work, if any, and the employees required to work such overtime hours shall be established by the City, provided, however, that overtime work shall be distributed as equitably as is reasonably practical among qualified employees who are normally engaged in the work involved. No employee will be permitted to accept an overtime listassignment if the employee does not possess the skills and abilities to perform said assignment. In the event that a particular department is in need of additional help or is unable to schedule departmental staff for necessary overtime, on a rotating basis.
