Part-time Appointment Clause Samples
A Part-time Appointment clause defines the terms under which an individual is engaged to work for an organization on a part-time basis, rather than as a full-time employee. This clause typically outlines the expected working hours, days of work, and any specific entitlements or limitations that differ from those of full-time staff, such as pro-rated benefits or leave. Its core function is to clearly establish the employment status and expectations for part-time employees, ensuring both parties understand their rights and obligations and reducing the risk of misunderstandings regarding workload and benefits.
