Common use of Part-time Nurses Clause in Contracts

Part-time Nurses. a. If a regular part-time nurse works on one of the holidays set forth in paragraph A above, he/she will be paid for all time worked on said holiday at two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay. b. Regular part-time nurses who are regularly scheduled for at least 40 hours in a pay period shall receive pro rata holiday pay (including for floating holidays) if not scheduled to work, on the basis of one-tenth (1/10th) of an hour of holiday pay for each regularly scheduled hour of work, not to exceed eight (8) hours of holiday pay.

Part-time Nurses. 13 a. If a regular part-time nurse works on one of the holidays set 14 forth in paragraph A above, he/she will be paid for all time worked on said 15 holiday at two (2) times his/her regular straight-time hourly rate of pay. 16 b. Regular part-time nurses who are regularly scheduled for at 17 least 40 hours in a pay period shall receive pro rata holiday pay (including 18 for floating holidays) if not scheduled to work, on the basis of one-tenth tenth 19 (1/10th1 10th) of an hour of holiday pay for each regularly scheduled hour of 20 work, not to exceed eight (8) hours of holiday pay.

Regular part-time nurses who are regularly scheduled for at 24 least 40 hours in a pay period shall receive pro rata holiday pay (including 25 for floating holidays) if not scheduled to work, on the basis of one-tenth 26 (1/10th) of an hour of holiday pay for each regularly scheduled hour of 27 work, not to exceed eight (8) hours of holiday pay.
