To clarify, every employee who has attained their or anniversary date as of the effective date of this provision shall be entitled to have the full five days' vacation banked. To replace the originally scheduled days on which such work was performed, the employee will receive one vacation lieu day off for each day on which he has so worked." ILLNESS DuringVacation following clause is to full-time "Where an employee's scheduled vacation is interrupted due to serious illness, which either commenced prior to or during the scheduled vacation period, the period of such illness shall be considered sick leave. Serious illness is defined as an illness which requires the employee to receive on-going medical care treatments resulting in either hospitalization or which would confine the employee to their residence or to bed rest for more than three days. The portion of the employee's vacation which is deemed to be sick leave under the above provisions will not be counted against the employee's vacation credits.
