Payment for Working on a Holiday Sample Clauses

The 'Payment for Working on a Holiday' clause establishes the compensation employees are entitled to when they are required to work on designated holidays. Typically, this clause specifies that employees will receive either additional pay—such as time-and-a-half or double their regular rate—or compensatory time off for hours worked during official holidays. By clearly outlining the terms of holiday pay, this clause ensures fair treatment for employees and helps prevent disputes regarding compensation for work performed on days generally reserved for rest.
