Holidays Falling on Clause Samples

The "Holidays Falling on" clause defines how contractual deadlines or obligations are adjusted when they coincide with a public holiday or non-business day. Typically, this clause specifies that if a due date falls on such a day, the deadline is automatically moved to the next business day. For example, if a payment is due on a national holiday, the payment would instead be due on the following working day. This clause ensures that parties are not penalized for missing deadlines due to holidays, providing clarity and fairness in the administration of the contract.
