Scheduling of Lieu Days. Every effort will be made to schedule days off in lieu of holidays as additions to the employee's regular days off, except where the employee and the Employer otherwise agree.
Scheduling of Lieu Days. (1) Pursuant to Clauses 20.3 and 20.4, days off in lieu of paid holidays shall be scheduled by mutual agreement and taken within sixty (60) days following the paid holiday. (2) If the lieu day is not taken within the sixty (60) days, it shall be immediately scheduled on the vacation roster. (3) This clause does not apply where the days in lieu of paid holidays are built into the shift pattern.

An employee requesting a lieu day must make application fourteen (14) days in advance and the employer will reply within seven (7) days of the application. In cases of emergencies, the Parties agree to waive the above stated advance notice of change and no request will be unreasonably denied.
