Performance checks Clause Samples

The 'Performance checks' clause establishes the right or obligation to assess whether a party is meeting its contractual duties. Typically, this involves scheduled or ad hoc reviews, inspections, or audits of work, deliverables, or services provided under the agreement. For example, a client may periodically evaluate a contractor’s progress or compliance with quality standards. The core function of this clause is to ensure accountability and transparency, allowing issues to be identified and addressed early, thereby reducing the risk of non-performance or disputes.
