Performance Goals and Indicators. The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Contract is intended to and shall be a performance-based multi-year contract of employment under and pursuant to 105 ILCS 5/10-23.8a. Annually, the Principal shall (1) evaluate student performance, including, but not limited to, student performance in standardized tests such as the Illinois Standardized Tests, successful completion of the curriculum, and attendance drop-out rates; (2) review the curriculum and instructional services; and (3) report to the Superintendent on her findings as to: (a) student performance; and (b) her recommendations, if any, for curriculum or instructional changes as a result of her evaluation of student performance. The presentation of the report shall constitute the achievement of the goals and indicators of student performance and academic improvement as required by Section 10-23.8a of the Illinois School Code. The Superintendent shall determine whether the Principal has met the goals above using the criteria described in the goals themselves, as well as the Superintendent’s own judgment as to whether the Principal has exhibited the leadership, guidance and effort needed to achieve the goals. The Superintendent shall make this determination after an evaluation of the Principal and shall issue his determination in writing and present it to the Principal as part of the evaluation process.
Performance Goals and Indicators. As part of this FPA, the XL Participants agree to measure their environmental performance with the specified goals of this Laboratory XL Project. Environmental goals and indicators are outlined in Table
Performance Goals and Indicators. This is a performance-based contract. In addition to the duties set forth above, those duties prescribed by the laws and regulations of the State of Illinois and by the policies, regulations and directions of the Board, all as may be modified from time to time, and as are reasonably incidental thereto, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources shall have the attached “Exhibit A” as goals and indicators of his performance and duties. By June 30 of each contract year, the Superintendent shall establish, in consultation with the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, additional performance goals to be accomplished during the next contract year to implement the duties of the position of Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. In the event the Board fails by June 30 of each contract year to establish the performance goals, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources shall establish performance goals and notify the Board in writing of such performance goals by no later than July 15 of the next contract year. All such performance goals made or modified during the life of this Contract shall be in implementation of this provision of this Contract and shall not constitute or require an amendment to this Contract. Additionally, it shall not be deemed that the Board and the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources have entered into a new contract, nor that the termination date of the existing contract has been extended. The Superintendent and the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources will also conduct at least one mid-year review by no later than the Board’s first meeting in February of each contract year and at such other times each contract year at the request of the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and/or Superintendent. By May 31 of each contract year, the Superintendent shall, as part of the annual evaluation of the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources determine whether the performance goals for the contract year have been met and if adequate progress has been made toward meeting those performance goals to be completed in later contract years. The primary measure of the performance and effectiveness of the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources each year shall be whether the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources has met the performance goals for that contract year and has made adequate progress toward completion of the performance goals which are to be accomplished in a later contract year, as ...

Annually, the Chief shall assist the Superintendent to (1) evaluate student performance; (2) review the curriculum and instructional services; (3) evaluate the District’s staffing needs related to curriculum and instructional services; and (4) report to the Superintendent on his findings as to: (a) student performance; and (b) his recommendations, if any, for instructional and staffing changes as a result of his review and evaluation of such matters. The presentation of the report shall constitute the achievement of the goals and indicators of student performance and academic improvement as required by Section 10-23.8a of the Illinois School Code. The Superintendent shall determine whether the Chief has met the goals above using the criteria described in the goals themselves, as well as the Superintendent’s own judgment as to whether the Chief has exhibited the leadership, guidance and effort needed to achieve the goals. The Superintendent shall make this determination after an evaluation of the Chief and shall issue his determination in writing and present it to the Chief as part of the evaluation process. Annually, the Executive Director shall: (1) review and evaluate student performance, which shall include but not be limited to student performance on standardized tests, completion of the curriculum, attendance and dropout rates; (2) review and evaluate the District’s curriculum, instruction and assessment services; and (3) report to the Superintendent, or designee, on the Executive Director’s findings as to: (a) student performance, and (b) the Executive Director’s recommendations, if any, for curriculum, programmatic and/or assessment changes as a result of the Executive Director’s review and evaluation of such matters. The presentation of the report shall constitute the achievement of the goals and indicators of student performance and academic improvement as required by Section 10-23.8a of the Illinois School Code. The Superintendent, or designee, shall determine whether the Executive Director has met the goals above using the criteria described in the goals themselves, as well as the Superintendent’s, or designee’s, own judgment as to whether the Executive Director has exhibited the leadership, guidance and effort needed to achieve the goals. The Superintendent, or designee, shall make this determination after an evaluation of the Executive Director and shall issue such determination in writing and present it to the Executive Director as part of the evaluation process.
Performance Goals and Indicators. In accordance with the requirements of the School Code, the parties agree that the following performance goals for the Superintendent have been established with respect to student performance and academic improvement, including the indicators listed beneath the goals that shall be used by the Board to measure the Superintendent’s performance:
Goal 1. The Superintendent shall complete or substantially complete the Strategic Goals of the District’s 2018-2022 Strategic Plan, as measured by the following indicators:
a. The Superintendent will provide a report to the Board concluding implementation of the 2018-2022 Strategic Plan.
Goal 2. The Superintendent shall engage the community to guide the creation of a new strategic vision for the District, as measured by the following indicators:
a. In coordination with the community and the Board, the Superintendent will develop and submit to the Board a new Strategic Plan. The Board shall determine whether the Superintendent has met the performance goals above using the criteria described in the goals themselves, as well as Board members’ own judgment as to whether the Superintendent has exhibited the leadership, guidance, and effort needed to achieve the goals. The Board shall issue its determination in writing and present it to the Superintendent. The Board reserves the right, with input from the Superintendent, to modify or replace the performance goals and indicators in any contract year. Further, in addition to the performance goals and indicators set forth in this contract, the Board and the Superintendent will agree on additional annual goals for the Superintendent. These additional annual goals are not intended to be performance goals within the meaning of the School Code, but they will be used in conducting the Superintendent’s annual evaluation.
Performance Goals and Indicators. Annually, the Administrator shall assist the Superintendent to (a) evaluate the student performance in relationship to facilities maintenance, which shall include but not be limited to student performance on standardized tests, completion of the curriculum, attendance and dropout rates; (b) review the curriculum and instructional services of the District with regard to maintenance and improvement in facilities; and (c) report to the Board his findings as to (i) student performance and (ii) recommendations, if any, for curriculum or instructional or facilities changes as a result of his evaluation of student performance. The presentation of the report shall constitute the achievement of the goals and indicators of student performance and academic improvement as required by this Contract and as may be required under Section 23.8a of the School Code. The Superintendent or designee shall determine whether the Administrator has met the performance goals using the criteria described in the goals themselves, as well as Superintendent's own judgment as to whether the Administrator has exhibited the leadership, guidance and effort needed to achieve the goals. The Superintendent or designee shall make this determination after an evaluation of the Administrator. The Superintendent or designee shall issue a determination in writing and present it to the Administrator during the annual evaluation required under paragraph E of this Contract. The Parties acknowledge that the action to incorporate additional performance goals into this Contract shall be in implementation of this provision of this Contract and shall not constitute or require an amendment to this Contract.
