Common use of Physical Disability Clause in Contracts

Physical Disability. When a person is unable to report for work for an extended period of time, it may be justifiable cause for termination. When accumulated sick leave and vacation pay are used up because of illness, the employee may request an extension from termination for a 30, 60 or 90-day period. The option to grant the extension remains with the Superintendent or designee.
