Polygraph Tests Sample Clauses

The Polygraph Tests clause establishes whether and under what circumstances polygraph (lie detector) examinations may be required or used in the context of the agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies if an employer can request an employee to undergo a polygraph test, often in connection with investigations of workplace misconduct or theft, and may outline any legal limitations or employee rights regarding such tests. Its core function is to set clear expectations and boundaries around the use of polygraph examinations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and protecting both parties from misunderstandings or unlawful demands.
