Power Transformers Sample Clauses

The 'Power Transformers' clause defines the requirements and specifications for the supply, installation, and performance of power transformers within a project or contract. It typically outlines the technical standards the transformers must meet, such as voltage ratings, capacity, and efficiency, and may specify testing procedures, delivery timelines, and compliance with relevant regulations. By clearly setting these expectations, the clause ensures that the transformers provided are suitable for the intended electrical system, reducing the risk of equipment failure and ensuring reliable power distribution.

Power Transformers. The location of electrical service transforming equipment must be approved by the Board. All transforming equipment shall be on on-ground installation and shall be screened. Service from the main transmission lines to the Building shall be underground.
Power Transformers. (765/√3)/(400/√3)/33 kV Single Phase Autotransformer 500 MVA 765/√3)/(400/√3)/33 kV, 1-phase Autotransformer (including arrangement for 3-phase bank formation of 1500 MVA) shall conform to CEA’s “Standard Specifications and Technical Parameters for Transformers and Reactors (66 kV and above voltage class)” as amended up to date available on CEA website.
Power Transformers. B.2.1.1 (765/√3)/(400/√3)/33 kV Single Phase Autotransformer 500 MVA 765/√3)/(400/√3)/33 kV, 1-phase Autotransformer (including arrangement for 3-phase bank formation of 1500 MVA) shall conform to CEA’s “Standard Specifications and Technical Parameters for Transformers and Reactors (66 kV and above voltage class)” as amended up to date available on CEA website. Spare transformer (1-phase) unit shall be placed and connected in such a way that in case of fault in any unit of any of the transformer banks (including for future transformer banks) can be replaced by spare unit without physically moving it.
Power Transformers. This section covers the engineering, design, fabrication, delivery and installation of main power transformers (MPT) and auxiliary power transformers (APT), as shown on the electrical one-line, Attachment I. The transformers shall be of the outdoor, oil-filled, self and forced air-cooled type dual 55/65 DEG. C rating with supplementary fan cooling. As an alternate to the 4.16kV-480/277 V oil-filled transformers, the Contractor may utilize an open, dry-type power transformer. The main step-up transformers shall be rated such that the top 55 DEG. C rating shall match the turbine-generator output at 30 DEG. C ambient and 0.85 power factor.
Power Transformers. The generator step up transformers of the Plant shall be rated for maximum duty. They shall be fitted with on load tap changers with a tapping range such as to permit maximum export with the generator at rated voltage and 0.85 lagging power factor, with KPLC's System operating at a voltage of 220kV.
Power Transformers. 5.1 The power transformers shall be one of the transformer models detailed in Project Developer’s Technical and Financial Feasibility Study unless otherwise agreed with the Ministry in its absolute discretion. 5.2 The power transformers shall be oil-filled type and rated for outdoor installation. 5.3 The relevant environmental, fire safety and local regulations shall be complied with. 5.4 All oil-filled transformers shall be complete with oil conservator, oil level indication/alarm, silica gel breather, temperature/alarm/tripping, pressure relief/alarm/tripping, and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ gas and surge protection/tripping/alarm all of which values and signals shall be available in the remote monitoring platform. 5.5 All transformers shall be equipped with motorized on load tap changers, allowing automatic local and remote manual operations. 5.6 Cooling shall be ONAN, ONAN/ONAF, ONAN/ONAF/ONAF or ONAN/ONAF/ODAF, the radiators may be mounted separate from the tank or mounted on the transformer tank. 5.7 Approved facilities shall be provided for inspection, testing and maintenance access to the gas and oil-actuated relays and conservators associated with the transformers.
Power Transformers. (765/√3)/(400/√3)/33 kV Single Phase Autotransformer -phase Autotransformer (including arrangement for 3-phase bank formation of 1500 MVA) shall conform to CEA’s “Standard Specifications and Technical Parameters for Transformers and Reactors (66 kV and above)” as amended up to date available on CEA website. Spare transformer (1-phase) unit shall be placed and connected in such a way that in case of fault in any unit of any of the transformer banks (including for future transformer banks) can be replaced by spare unit without physically moving it.
