Privacy Principles. HMG is developing a set of principles relating to privacy which will guide Identity Assurance. Principles are expected to cover the following:  User Control - Identity Assurance can only take place with consent  Transparency - Identity Assurance can only take place in ways that customers understand and when they are fully informed  Multiplicity - choice over Identity Providers / number of Identity Providers used  Data Minimisation - transactions will only use the minimum data necessary to meet a customers needs  Data Quality - choice over when to update recordsUser Access and Portability - copies of data to be available on request and ability to move/remove data upon request  Governance / Certification - customers can trust the service because they know all participants have been accredited  Problem Resolution - Independent Arbiters to resolve problems  Exceptional Circumstances - exceptions to be approved by Parliament and subject to independent scrutiny
Privacy Principles. When Processing Personal Data as Controller in the context of performance of this Agreement, Partner shall ensure: a. that the Personal Data is Processed lawfully and fairly; b. that it Processes such Personal Data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes in accordance with Technology and Data Laws and does not further Process Personal Data in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes; c. that the Processing shall be limited to what is adequate, relevant and necessary in relation to the purposes for which Partner Processes such Personal Data, including by ensuring that any individual acting under its authority who has access to Personal Data does not process it except on instructions from Partner; d. that such Personal Data it Processes is accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date, including by taking every reasonable step to ensure that Personal Data that is inaccurate is erased or rectified without delay; e. that such Personal Data is kept in a form which permits identification of Data Subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the Personal Data are Processed; and
Privacy Principles. The Contractor agrees to be bound by the Information Privacy Principles and regulations with respect to any act done or practice engaged in by the Contractor under or in connection with this Agreement in the same way and to the same extent as the University would have been bound by the Principles in respect of that act or practice had it been directly done or engaged in by the University.

Privacy Principles. In connection with Supplier's processing of Personal Information that is subject to the Privacy Principles: 1. Supplier will (i) provide at least the same level of privacy and data security protection as is required under the Privacy Principles and (ii) process such Personal Information only to perform the Services under Supplier's contract with LSC or as otherwise instructed by LSC; 2. If Supplier determines that it is unable to protect such Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Principles, it will (i) immediately notify LSC; (ii) immediately cease processing such Personal Information, (iii) take reasonable and appropriate steps to remediate such inability, and (iv) immediately notify LSC upon such remediation; and 3. Without the prior consent of LSC, Supplier will not disclose or otherwise transfer any Personal Information that is subject to the Privacy Principles (i) outside of the United States, or (ii) to any third party, except as required by applicable law or court order.
