Professional Development Leave. 1. Professional leave is provided for professional development, professional organizational activities, and school-related professional activities. A teacher may be granted this leave without loss of pay when (1) serving as a representative of the District or (2) attending conferences, workshops, meetings, seminars or other activities related to the teacher's assignment.
