Professional Interpretations Clause Samples

The 'Professional Interpretations' clause establishes that any ambiguities or uncertainties in technical documents, plans, or specifications will be resolved by a designated professional, such as an architect or engineer. In practice, this means that if there is a disagreement or lack of clarity regarding the meaning of certain terms or requirements, the appointed professional's interpretation will be considered final and binding for the parties involved. This clause ensures that technical disputes are settled efficiently by an expert, reducing delays and minimizing the risk of prolonged disagreements over contract language.
