Common use of Professional Practices Clause in Contracts

The parties are committed to the development of staff professional practices as it is believed that the pursuit of an excellent teaching and learning program and a positive and dynamic school environment is best attained by staff who both value and who have opportunities for professional growth. The parties have a shared commitment to provide a nurturing working environment in which staff embrace the School's pastoral care program and value and engage in performance review and professional learning activities. It is recognised that a commitment to the improvement of professional practice necessitates a time commitment and the active involvement of all staff.
